About the Opportunity

Arctic Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and result oriented Travel Sales Specialist to join our team in Mississauga on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and qualifying new business leads. You will also be responsible for increasing awareness of our products and services, as well as driving business sales.

Primary duties include:  

  • Demand generation outbound B2B channel prospecting
  • Converting inbound leads and inquiries into sales
  • Making product recommendations and helping customers find the adventure experience that is right for them
  • Processing client bookings
  • Completing weekly pipeline and activity reporting requirements
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales lead objectives and quotas
  • Providing quality customer service with a commitment to go the extra mile
  • Ensuring that all bookings are accurate and that customer are aware of all information that may impact their adventure experience
  • Maintaining a high-level of product knowledge through continuous development
  • Taking ownership and accountability of your work

For this role, we are seeking someone with a post-secondary diploma or degree, and a minimum of 2 years of sales experience. Previous experience in the travel industry and/or experience in generating quality outbound leads in a B2B and B2C environment is an asset

Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build rapport, develop, and maintain relationships with customers.

You will excel in this role if you are a proactive, personable and target-driven sales  person who is motivated by the opportunity to earn commissions. As such, the ability to meet or exceed sales targets or quotas is required.

We are also looking for candidates who share our passion for adventure travel and who are looking for an opportunity to build a successful career out of selling a truly fun and unique product. Please note that due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel to client meetings or industry events (including overnight stays) from time to time.
